Southern California Barbecue Picnic at Follows Camp, Azusa CA on October 17-18, 1998 -- Where it all started

A group of southern California barbecue enthusiasts got together at Follows Camp in the San Gabriel River Canyon above Azusa, CA for a weekend of camping, cooking and socializing.  It was from this first get-together that the seeds for Southern California Barbecue Association were planted.

Bob Pierce, Dan Cannon, Steve Clark, Bill Wight.  Steve, Gary Maines and Bill organized this first barbecue get-together picnic and campout.
