In November, 2000, scbbqa hosted a QFest in San Dimas. Highlights of QFest included seminars, fun, a little business (the election of the new Board of Directors), recognition of the year's best cooks, and some great food. Here are some highlights.

On Saturday, scbbqa members held their Annual Meeting and elected new directors and officers. Here is a picture of the incoming Board of Directors.

From left to right, those pictured include Gary Maines (Vice President, Memberships), Carl Kaun (Editor), Roger Cole (Treasurer), Tom Brohamer (President), Melanie Jones (Secretary), and Joe O'Connell (Vice President, Sponsorships). Not pictured are Gene Goycochea (Vice President, Promotions) and Dan Cannon (Ex Officio).

The incoming directors and officers take office on December 1, 2000. Until then, the current (outgoing) directors and officers (all of whom are shown here) include Tom Brohamer (Editor), Dan Cannon (President), Melanie Jones (Secretary/Treasurer), and Joe O'Connell (Vice President). Notice that they're laughing, because all four of them will continue as scbbqa directors on the incoming Board.
