CBBQA's Todd Eves to appear on Discovery Channel's Monster Garage

LONG BEACH, CA, - CBBQA board member Todd Eves took on one monster of a catering gig. What he thought was just another cook turned out to be a job for the folks of Monster Garage, the popular TV show on the Discovery Channel. Stay tuned, Todd will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the show.

Monster Garage is Discovery Channel's hit show in which master auto mechanic and artist Jesse James converts ordinary cars into extraordinary machines. For the episode Todd catered, the task was to combine a 1970 Ford Ranchero with a mechanical bull.

Todd and his company, Todd's Out Of This World BBQ, were asked to cater on the set of the show. After speaking to Todd and seeing him in action with his pit, the producers were charmed into getting some footage of him. The appropriate waivers were signed and before he knew it, Todd was wired with microphone while the cameras followed him around. Todd pontificated on subjects ranging from what real BBQ is, to pits, and catering. He even got in a plug for his line of sauces, rubs, and jerky. According to the producers, the episode will air in about 3 months time.

Jesse James and crew all agreed that Todd's BBQ was excellent. A consultant for the show, a bull rider from Texas, was particularly fond of Todd's BBQ. He said Todd's BBQ was the best he's ever had. The whole crew looked forward to having Todd back real soon.

Todd was not shy about asking for autographs, and got a slew of them for family, and one especially for Doug Smith of Big Moose BBQ, a huge Jesse James fan and Monster Garage junkie.
