Several changes made to 2002 rules
Several changes were made to the rules for the 2002 Team of the Year
competition, and other changes are under consideration by the
Association.
Note that the following is only a general explanation,
and the Rules themselves govern the ToY competition and should be
consulted.

The ToY year will be changed as follows: for 2002, the ToY year
begins on September 1, 2001 and ends on December 31, 2002;
thereafter, the ToY year will be a calendar year.

In the case of a tie for any ToY award, the teams which are tied
will share in the award.
All other rules remain substantially the same. The rules have
been renumbered and grammar corrections made, but these are not
substantial.
